User Agreement
This User Agreement ("Agreement") applies to the website https://ujitsu.com or the UJITSU mobile application ("Website"). By accessing or using the Website, you ("User") agree to comply with and be bound by this Agreement. This document outlines the terms and conditions under which UJITSU provides access to the Website and its services, as well as the rights and obligations of both UJITSU ("UJITSU") and the User.

By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this User Agreement, along with any additional terms and conditions that may apply. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Website.

We collect, use, disclose, and process personal data in accordance with Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 ("UAE Data Protection Law") and other applicable laws. By using the Website, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree to use the Website in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, if applicable.

You may not use, modify, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Website without UJITSU’s prior written consent.

6. Modifications to the Agreement
UJITSU reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Website. Continued use of the Website following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

7.Unacceptable Material
Unacceptable material – any material or information uploaded to or made available on the Website which under the law of any jurisdiction from which the Website may be accessed may be considered:

(1) illegal, illicit, indecent, obscene, racist, offensive, pornographic, paedophilic, insulting, false, unreliable, misleading, harmful or potentially harmful to minors, threatening, libelous, alleged to be or actually defamatory or in infringement of third-party rights (of whatever nature and including, without limitation, any Intellectual Property Rights), invasive of another’s privacy or other rights, to relate to or encourage money laundering or illegal gambling;

(2) in breach of any applicable regulations, standards or codes of practice (notwithstanding that compliance may not be compulsory);

(3) in contravention of legislation, including without limitation, that relating to weapons, animals or alcohol; or

(4) harmful to the UJITSU’s reputation

(5) Promoting identity based hatred towards marginalized or vulnerable groups, which include, but are not limited to, groups based on their actual and perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or disability. These include victims of a major violent event and their families.

(6) that may encourage a breach of any relevant laws or regulations.

UJITSU does not tolerate users posting any of the unacceptable materials on the Website, nor any abusive behavior or acts by any of the users.

8. User Profile and Communication Preferences
When you create an account on UJITSU, a user profile will be generated to tailor your experience. During the account creation process, you will have the option to consent to receiving newsletters, event reminders, and promotional offers from UJITSU and its event partners or third parties via email, SMS, or other communication channels.
You can update your communication preferences at any time by adjusting your settings in your account profile.

9. Privacy Policy
At UJITSU, we take privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to all services and solutions offered by UJITSU.

Directly from you: We collect information when you create an account, register for an event, download our apps, or communicate with us.

●Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems, or engaging in hacking, cracking, or exploiting platform vulnerabilities.

Malicious Software:
●Uploading, distributing, or transmitting malware, viruses, worms, or any other harmful software.

Phishing and Social Engineering:
●Conducting phishing attacks or any form of social engineering to deceive users into disclosing sensitive information.

Denial of Service (DoS) Attacks:
●Participating in activities that disrupt services, including distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.

Illegal or Harmful Content:
●Posting, sharing, or distributing content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.

Harassment:
●Engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, or posting content deemed hateful or offensive.

Fraudulent Activity:
●Engaging in deceptive activities such as financial scams or pyramid schemes.

Abuse of Resources:
●Excessive consumption of platform resources, including bandwidth, storage, or processing power.

Impersonation:
●Falsely representing yourself or impersonating another individual or entity.

Spam and Unsolicited Communications:
●Sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, or spam through the platform.

Privacy Violations:
●Invading the privacy of others or attempting to access or share personal information without consent.
Violation of any of these rules may result in the suspension or termination of your account and potential legal action.


10. Content regulation

10.1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on the Website all users expressly agree to the terms and conditions of Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

10.2. Zero discrimination policy
The terms clearly state that objectionable content or abusive behavior or any kind of discrimination will not be tolerated.

10.3. Content Monitoring and Filtering
The Website will utilize content filtering mechanisms to detect and restrict the display of any objectionable or inappropriate content in violation of the Website’s standards.

10.4. Reporting System for Inappropriate Content
Users have the ability to flag any content they consider inappropriate or offensive or or potentially violating UJITSU’s policies and procedures, including, but not limited to the ones that fall under the category of “unacceptable material. This flagged content will be promptly reviewed by UJITSU.

10.5. Blocking Abusive Users
Website provides you as well as the other users with the functionality to block other users who engage in abusive or harmful behavior, ensuring safer and more comfortable interactions.
After blocking the abusive users, your profile and content will appear inaccessible to the person you blocked. Blocked accounts will be inaccessible and their content hidden.

10.6. Timely Action on Reports
UJITSU commits to taking action on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. This includes removing the offending content and blocking the user responsible for the violation.

11. Enforcement
UJITSU reserves the right to enforce this Agreement at its discretion. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to, account suspension, termination, and legal proceedings as deemed necessary.

12. Security
UJITSU employs industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. While we strive to safeguard your data, the internet is not completely secure. Users are encouraged to take caution when using the Website and avoid sharing sensitive information.

13. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the UAE for processing as outlined in this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. While such jurisdictions may have different levels of protection, we take appropriate steps to secure your information during cross-border transfers.

14. Links to Third-Party Websites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites and services not controlled by UJITSU. Our User Agreement and Privacy Policy do not apply to these third-party sites. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any linked websites before sharing personal information.

15. Updates to the User Agreement
UJITSU reserves the right to update this User Agreement from time to time to reflect changes to the platform or legal requirements. Users will be notified of significant updates, and continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law
This User Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
